WHAT IS EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY?
Accredited Exercise Physiologist's (AEP's) are university qualified allied health professionals who have extensive knowledge on the effect exercise has on the body. AEP's believe exercise is medicine! We prescribe exercise to prevent, treat or manage health conditions, disabilities or injuries.

INITIAL CONSULTATIONS
Getting to know you!
Every new patient to Halo Exercise Physiology will have an initial assessment with our exercise physiologist. We use this session to get to know you and work out how we can help you! The session involves a chat where we discuss your reason for referral, medical history, physical activity levels and goals, and undertake any necessary health assessments. With the information provided, a treatment plan is then developed to help you achieve your goals. Treatment plans may include:- home exercise programs- individual exercise sessions- group exercise classes
EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY
Individual sessions
These sessions are ideal for people who want one on one support! You will work together with your exercise physiologist to undertake your exercise program. Regular supervised exercise physiology sessions provide accountability and allow for ongoing variations to your exercise program.
GROUP EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY
Supportive small group class
These sessions are supervised by the exercise physiologist and each participant has their own tailored exercise program.These sessions are for people who would still like a bit of extra support with their program whilst exercising with like minded people.
